Monosus Announces New Management Structure
Monosus was founded in 2004 and has grown into an organization with approximately 200 employees across its affiliated companies. In response to this change, we have decided to transition to a new management structure to optimize our management structure and build a management foundation that can withstand the changing times. The main objectives of this organizational change are to clearly divide the roles of "management" and "execution", appropriately delegate authority, and enable faster decision-making by making management information more open. Additionally, we will strengthen our system to envision the future of our business and organization over medium- to long-term timescales, such as three, five, and even the next decade.

New Management Profile
Representative Director, President, Taichi Manabe
Born in 1977 in Ehime Prefecture. Studied design at an American university and worked at an advertising production company for about 10 years. He was responsible for creative work on cross-media campaigns during the early days of the web. After joining Monosus in 2012, he worked on the "Innovation Tohoku" project, a global IT company's post-earthquake reconstruction project. In 2016, he launched the agricultural production corporation "Food Hub Project" as a joint venture between Kamiyama Town, Kamiyama Tsunagu Public Corporation, and Monosus, and became Co-Representative Director. He will serve as Monosus' Representative Director from January 2024. She has also launched new social projects, such as "MONOSUS Shashokuken," which provides company cafeterias for major corporations, and "KINOKO SOCIAL CLUB," which aims to create a circular economy.
Director and Executive Vice President, Tomoko Nagai
In 1994, she built pre-Internet information and communications systems at a semiconductor manufacturer. Since 1997, she has worked in systems development, production direction, and SEO at internet-related companies. In 2004, she founded MONOSUS and, while serving as vice president, has continued to be involved in numerous web development and operations projects.
Director, Kumiko Sakuyama
She joined the company in 2006. She was involved in the call center business, which was the company's core business at the time, and was responsible for on-site operations. She later became involved in organizational and business management as a division manager and general manager, and was appointed executive officer in 2014. She currently focuses on the back office, developing and operating internal systems and business structures, and is responsible for organizational management.
Director and Executive Officer: Shigeta Arai
After playing soccer and being a professional barista, he joined Seiyo Food Compass Group, a major food service company. In October 2007, he became the first Google Japan Food Manager. As a food team leader for approximately 10 years, he created innovative employee cafeterias that attracted global attention. In October 2016, he joined nonpi Inc. As a director, he led the planning and operation of corporate cafeterias for numerous companies, including Mitsubishi Estate, LINE, and Indeed, and contributed significantly to business growth from the perspective of community revitalization. In June 2020, he joined Monosus Inc. Under the motto "Good Food, Good Job! Good jobs start with good food," he promotes the reform of "everyday food" in offices and schools. As a food expert, he currently works on a wide range of projects, from concept design to operation, in regional redevelopment and office renovation projects.
Outside Director: Fuyuki Sugawara
After founding his own startup, he has been involved in the management of multiple companies, launching new businesses, and expanding overseas. Starting in January 2026, he will serve as an Outside Director at Monosus, working with the new management team to develop business strategies.
Executive Officer: Yoshihiro Tatsuta
Born in 1980 in Hyogo Prefecture. After graduating, he worked as a marketing consultant at a major independent management consulting firm. He joined Monosus in 2008. Since then, he has served as a marketing and business manager, expanding the company's web business. He also plans websites for client companies. He combines marketing and web to drive business growth for both the company and its clients.
Executive Officer: Takuya Miyagawa
Born in Ishikawa Prefecture. He joined Monosus in 2009. After working in coding and technical direction for website production, he founded Monosus Thailand in Bangkok, Thailand in 2013. He served as a local executive for approximately 12 years, responsible for management and operations. He is currently based in Japan, where he serves as an executive officer in charge of back-office operations and COO of Monosus Thailand.
Executive Officer Nao Uemura
Originally from Tokyo, Nao joined our company after working at a major management consulting firm. She was responsible for a wide range of responsibilities, from sales to project management for our web development business. She then oversaw the marketing business from its launch. Since 2024, she has been in charge of management accounting and budget management, and is involved in the operation and management of the company's accounting system. This year, she was appointed Executive Officer in charge of Finance and Accounting.
