With the challenge of strengthening information dissemination to promote migration and settlement, the existing website was poorly organized, making it difficult to find the necessary information. To deliver information clearly from the user's perspective, a project to review and redesign the entire site was launched. Furthermore, since this site uses a CMS specific to the local government, we coordinated the specifications with the CMS provider and proceeded with implementation while proposing the optimal configuration and functions that could be realized within the limitations. In addition, by focusing on improving the pages with the highest number of views based on access analysis data, the design ensures that information is delivered more effectively.

To address the challenges of disseminating information to promote migration and settlement, we first reorganized the current website's structure and user flow. Then, we clarified the target user profile, redesigned the priority of necessary information, and revised the page structure. Following this, we worked closely with the production company, carefully managing the project while making adjustments to avoid any misunderstandings. We ensured quality through timely feedback, resulting in a website that balances the warmth and clarity characteristic of Yanai City. By systematically addressing, designing, and implementing solutions to the challenges, we achieved an effective redesign.

Through this project, we revised the organization of information and the design of user flow, resulting in an improved website where users can smoothly access the information they need. Information regarding relocation and settlement is now easier to understand, and the inquiry process has also been clarified. Furthermore, the flow of information updates within the government office has been streamlined, contributing to reduced operational burden and the establishment of a foundation for continuous information dissemination. This project went beyond a simple redesign, creating a system that is user-friendly for both users and the government.
