Congratulations on winning MVP! Even a tough year can be transformed into "fun" shared with everyone. Haruka Baba

The MVP award recognizes the person who "worked the hardest this month!" In April 2026, the award went to Baba, the unit leader and coder.

As the head of the Kyoto office, Baba led the most challenging first year of its establishment. Beyond facilitating weekly meetings and acting as a liaison with executives, she naturally took on every small role, from daily equipment management to dealing with neighborhood associations. Furthermore, as a unit leader, she has created a healthy working environment for team members by utilizing initiatives such as the "Good Morning Meeting" and a facilitator system.

Here are some comments about Baba, who transformed a challenging role into the "enjoyment" of working together, and who continues to build a new team structure through trial and error.

Monosus Monthly MVP
At Monosus, we select and award an MVP every month. Starting in February 2026, we launched a "two-person selection system" where members from both the "Production/Headquarters Department" and the "Food/Headquarters Department" each recommend an MVP, so that the hard work of more members in their respective fields can be seen.
Furthermore, since the members selected by headquarters play roles across all solutions, they make recommendations in both selection processes.

I recently visited the Kyoto office for the first time for a cherry blossom viewing event, and I was treated with incredible kindness. When I mentioned that my back was aching from being in meetings all day in the tatami room on the second floor, they rearranged the layout before the next morning's meeting. I was deeply impressed by their hospitality and speed. Also, Baba-chan is the one who makes the most use of the "facilitator system" within the company. She uses 1-on-1s and workshops within her unit to help with management, and I felt that she is constantly thinking about how to make the unit work well and how to ensure the members can work healthily, so I wanted to recommend her.

Congratulations, Baba-chan. I'll refrain from going into detail as there are many specific details about the project, but I'd like to share a few comments about you, based on my everyday thoughts.
The Baba Unit currently consists of two members, and I heard that Baba-chan proactively volunteered to become the unit leader, which I found truly admirable. Not only is she doing a great job as a leader, but I've also come to appreciate how much she cares for her members, which I've felt while interacting with her.

Congratulations, Baba-san! I decided several months ago to nominate you for this month's MVP, so I'm delighted that you've received the award. I nominated you at the perfect time, as it's been one year since the Kyoto office opened.

From what I've seen of Ms. Baba, there are three main aspects to her. First, as the head of the Kyoto office, she handled the most challenging part—the first year. In addition to facilitating the weekly Kyoto meetings, handling real estate matters, and acting as a liaison with the executives, she actively participated in many things, such as managing equipment purchases, accepting satellite workers, taking out the trash, and dealing with the neighborhood association. I am incredibly grateful that she took the initiative and acted so naturally, even though she said that being in charge would be the easiest role.

Next, as a unit leader, I continue to hold a "Good Morning Meeting" with the members every morning, and I also invite external individuals to act as facilitators for meetings, showing that I am seriously thinking about the unit's well-being.

Furthermore, as an engineer, he has earned the deep trust of clients, building such a strong relationship that he can bring projects that would normally require on-site work to Kyoto. He has also achieved ideal results by introducing other team members, creating a cycle where work generates more work. I believe he is both a fantastic leader and a valuable contributor.

Unit Leader/Coder: Baba

thank you.
I am truly delighted to receive such praise from people I respect.
Regarding the Kyoto office, everyone, including Ms. Kanno, has proactively sought out roles and taken initiative. As a result, even though I was in charge of the office, I've only had enjoyment over the past year. I am filled with gratitude for the atmosphere that everyone has created, and for being given the opportunity to create the Kyoto office in the first place.
Regarding the unit, Kawarasaki-san and Yano-san, who are also members of the unit, care about me even more than I do about them. I'm still inexperienced as a leader, but I hope to continue experimenting and trying different approaches so that everyone can stay healthy.

How to create good blood circulation with members and other people involved? How can we deepen our relationships to do better work? While thinking about this, we introduce the people and work of Monosus. The secretariat has approximately five members. I love eating a lot.
