Gentlemen and ladies who support the website.
Introducing the members of the Yoyogi Team of the WS Club

Hello. I'm Tatewaki from the Webmaster Support Department (WS Department).

The "Webmaster Support Department" was newly established in January of this year.
The Yoyogi team consists of 5 members working at the Tokyo headquarters and 7 members working at a satellite office in Kamiyama, Tokushima Prefecture, making a total of 13 people who are responsible for operating a variety of websites.

Members working at the satellite office often appear on " Work and Life in Kamiyama ," but members of the Yoyogi team don't appear very often.

When I first joined the company, I thought the team had a somewhat mature atmosphere, in stark contrast to the innocent atmosphere of Coding Factory, perhaps because many of the members had families.

It's been almost a year since we started working in the same space, and every day I enjoy working with such charming members who are all gentlemen and ladies.

Although I'm a newcomer, I would like to introduce these five wonderful members of the Yoyogi team from a fresh perspective!

Satoru Matsunaga

The leader of the Yoyogi team. He manages the progress of projects handled by Yoyogi members, budget management, and other administrative tasks, while also working on his own projects.

The first time I met him was when I was at Kamiyama Monosasu Juku . It was around the time that department introductions were being held for job seekers. He was neither pushing nor pulling, but calmly introducing the department, and occasionally he would open his laptop and check something, looking busy, and I thought he was a mysterious person. I remember him saying something like, "How old are you now? You're young. I wonder what I was doing when I was that age. You're young, so you can do anything." But it wasn't the department I wanted to be in, so I never thought I'd end up working with Mr. Matsunaga.

In line with that impression, the most striking thing about the school is that it's better to do what you want to do, to develop your strengths, and no matter what you think, they respect your wishes and try to help you grow.

When I'm in trouble, when I'm at a dead end, when I'm in a pinch, WS is the last line of defense that always supports me no matter how hard it is for me. I can't count the number of times that they have helped me as a newcomer.

Mr. Matsunaga's way of doing things, from setting up schedules to getting budgets and communicating with the other party, so that projects go smoothly, is truly "operational work." There is so much to learn.

Whenever I consult him about something, I am always convinced by his precise opinions, which are given from various perspectives. I'm sure everyone has had the experience of being surprised at a certain point of view. When we discuss a project, I can see the CPU churning away in Mr. Matsunaga's head.

In his private life, he is the father of two children. During peak times, he is often tired from his busy schedule. Even on his days off, Matsunaga is a kind man who calls his team members to check on their situation and make sure they are okay. Every day, I want to be able to run projects smoothly so that Matsunaga can rest easy.

Hiromi Kakurai

On my first day at the company, when I arrived at Meiji Shrine for the New Year's visit, which is apparently an annual tradition for employee volunteers, I saw a beautiful woman running up to me saying, "Sorry I'm late!" It was Ms. Kakurai.

It takes me a while to open up. He tried to talk to me to close the distance, and he has been very considerate of me since I joined the company. Someone at work told me, "Kakurai-san was worried about you at the last drinking party." He is such a wonderful person, so invincible, so beautiful... That's all I can say.

Working nearby, I think that his telephone manner is godlike. And he always works from the customer's point of view. I often find myself wondering if I am treating customers as a gentleman.

When I said to Mr. Kakurai, "That's amazing," he told me that he used to be really bad at answering the phone and would just get flustered, and that he had jumped into the world of web design with no experience, and there were so many things he didn't understand that he would often cry while working.

I really admire how they've made it this far by making small, repeated efforts over and over again. I think about how I should emulate that attitude every day.

Kakurai-san is friendly to everyone and has a wide range of skills, making him a popular person in the company. He blends into every community, and doesn't just try to have fun in the community he's already in. If he thinks, "I know someone who likes this!", he'll actively invite you in. It was really appreciated by a newbie who had just joined the company.

Apparently she graduated from a fashion school, and the clothes she always wears are always ones that you can feel she puts a lot of thought into. They're so cute. When I was talking about how we just moved and the curtains weren't long enough, she said, "Shall I add some?" Wow, you can sew curtains?

The invincible Kakarai-san. In fact, everyone in the department is worried about him because he has been working nonstop recently due to a lot of projects. I wish every day that the work could be shared among the WS members, without concentrating the burden on an individual.

And since Kakarai-san actually loves alcohol, I'd love to go drinking with him again!

Mana Takahashi

Speaking of Takahashi-san, he is always eating something. On Kamapan day , he always eats bread.

Due to the layout of the WS department, everyone on the Yoyogi team works with their backs to each other, so they don't talk much while working, but when Takahashi stands up and starts wandering around the room, a conversation begins.
While he is talking, he often suddenly says something unexpected, which makes you go, "What?!", but before you know it, everyone bursts out laughing and the atmosphere becomes more relaxed. He is the mood maker of the WS. And while he is funny, he is also the one who says those words that just make sense no matter what.

One day, while three women from the Yoyogi team were drinking, we started talking about how if there were only two men in the world, who would you choose: Mr./Mr. XX or Mr./Mr. ×× (we will not reveal their names for the sake of their honor)?
In order to survive, I chose the one who seemed to have the highest survival rate, but Takahashi chose the other one who seemed likely to die soon.

When I asked him why, he said, "Because it looks like I'll be having fun until I die."

I see, I hadn't thought of it from that perspective!
It's far better to live happily and then die than to survive in pain!
I'm sure I'm not the only one who is surprised and excited to hear what Takahashi has to say.

Takanori Handa

I'm a city boy born and raised in Tokyo. When I first came to Tokyo, I thought city boys were scary, so I was surprised at how kind Mr. Handa was, thinking, "Is this a Tokyo guy?" I'll keep it a secret. I learned this after coming to Tokyo, but I'm impressed by how many gentlemen there are in Tokyo, both at the station and in everyday life.

Handa-san is sensitive to people's feelings and notices even the smallest things. He is a delicate and kind person. Even though I have never met him in person, the members working at the Kamiyama satellite office called him "Considerate Handa" and respected him as "amazing". When I first joined the company and was nervous and pretending to be nice, he would always tell me, "You don't have to try so hard." Just thinking about him makes me realize how kind he is...!!

One day as I was leaving, it was quite late but Handa was still there so I asked him, "Aren't you going home yet?" He replied, "I asked Osaka to do some work for me, and he hasn't left yet, so I'll stay behind with him." That was a memorable response.

Perhaps because of his somewhat vulnerable aura, he is loved by people from other departments, and people often stop by his desk during their breaks to chat with him. Handa is an art lover, and his soft and calm worldview is secretly spreading around his desk, so it's no wonder people gather there to take a break.
You can get a sense of Handa's personality and the atmosphere he exudes.

Finally, me.
Ayumi Tatewaki

Due to internal restructuring, I was suddenly assigned to the Webmaster Support Department just before joining the company.

Even though I had already decided where I was going to move to, I was asked, "What are you going to do about joining the company?" Monosus is that kind of company. Everyone said to me, "You must have been surprised by this sudden request," and my manager hurriedly covered for me, but I had always thought that this was the kind of company it was, so I wasn't really surprised. Personally, I think I joined the company with a nonchalant attitude of, "Okay, okay, I get it."

I had been reading the Nihon Shigoto Hyakka magazine for years, and out of all the job offers, I thought this was the one! When I applied, my job hunting was over. I was seriously thinking that if I was rejected, I would quit everything and work at the mountain hut. I have worked for several companies so far, but your initial instincts are really important. Monosus was a turning point in my life. It was the point where the winds of my life changed, and now for me, it is a place where I can move forward with the wind at my back.

I've talked a lot, but until I joined the company I had no idea what the Webmaster Support Department did, or what role I was expected to play, and it's only recently that I've finally begun to see things clearly.

Operational work keeps the site alive. It's like being responsible for its life. I've only recently come to understand the meaning behind the huge amount of work that is so mundane and steady. Now that I understand the meaning, I finally feel it's fun and rewarding. I'm really grateful to everyone in the department, including Mr. Matsunaga, for all their help. I look forward to continuing to work with you.

What did you think of the introduction to the Yoyogi team members?
These are the members who manage our clients' websites on a daily basis.

There are actually very few companies that excel at stable operations.
Website specifications vary greatly from site to site. We are the unsung heroes, working behind the scenes to ensure safe and smooth operation while meeting a wide variety of conditions, including detailed rules, unspoken agreements, various terms, and the quirks of each site.

What do you do? I don't really understand. That's what the Webmaster Support Department is often told, but we are actually behind the websites that are updated every day. I've recently realized that operational work is like keeping the site alive, breathing life into it.

The Webmaster Support Department may not be very visible, but today they are quietly and frantically working on updates.

Please keep us informed of your presence in the future.
