Shigotohito Co., Ltd.
A UI design that prioritizes readability and creates positive experiences on a job site

Summary
A renewal of "Nihon Shigoto Hyakka," a job site that conveys the lifestyles of working people. Until now, the site has focused on job postings, but one of the challenges was how to handle Shigotohito's activities, which are expanding into various areas such as events, food, learning, and shopping. Shigotohito also says that job postings have a "context of lifestyle." This is something that can be found at the root of not only job postings, but also events, columns, and all articles and activities. How can we get visitors to the site to find this? What would happen if we linked the context of lifestyle? Can we stock words so that we can look back on them? Can we create a system where we can grow together through each other's words?
The 2018 renewal was phase 1, in which we devised a new UI and linked content across the board, centering on the "context of lifestyle," to create unexpected discoveries and encounters ("good happenings") for users who visit the site. We also made it easier to share on social media, and launched a column called "Words to cherish" to provide a place to stock words. We also placed importance on design and UI design that focuses on comfort when reading (design/creative direction: DRAFT), and are particular about using web fonts and reproducing delicate typesetting on the web.
