MONOSUS
ICECREAMING MAG

Aiming to be "Strong, kind, righteous, and beautiful...!!"
We interviewed some of the female members we were interested in.

Hello, this is Kadowaki from the Coding Factory.
It has been 10 months since I joined Monosus, and when I think about how I am improving myself through my work, I feel that each fulfilling day is truly precious.

Over the past year or so, what I've felt through my work is that there are many respectable employees within the company.
In particular, there is a lot that I find attractive about the female members of my work team as a fellow woman.

So, this time we interviewed four female members who we are currently interested in.
In the interviews, we explored what they value in their work by asking about the things they are particular about and conscious of.

Work honestly.
Megumi Matsubara (Coding Factory Department)

Matsubara-san is one of the seniors I respect the most. She has a strong sense of responsibility, but at the same time, she is cheerful and can lighten the mood with her excellent jokes. I asked Matsubara-san, who has such strength and gentleness, what kind of thoughts she has about her work!

Matsubara's work

My main role is to calculate the production man-hours. When we receive a consultation from a customer, we check the specifications and calculate the man-hours while considering the technical background. Based on that man-hours, the sales staff will create a quote.

Q: What do you value in your work?

"No secrets."

For example, if you are in trouble, say so clearly. If you are anxious, say you are anxious. Conversely, don't say you can do something if you can't. Matsubara is conscious of working "obediently" and "honestly."

Q. Is there anything you consciously incorporate into your work environment?

"In the morning, I take a short break before I start (work)."

Matsubara-san arrives at work about an hour before work starts. During this hour, he takes the time to "calm down" by eating breakfast, checking his smartphone, etc. By being able to switch between resting when he needs to rest and working when he needs to work, he brings balance to his work.

According to Matsubara, what he wants from work has changed recently.

"Before, I had a strong desire to work in a fun way, but now I want to work in an efficient and productive way."

As a result, his approach to work changed, and he gradually began to distinguish between working and resting.

Q: What do you do when you fail?

"Talk to people."

As you talk about telling someone, your mind naturally becomes clearer and you notice things that you didn't see at the time. Also, by talking to someone and "confessing," you are freed from the problems that were only in your mind and are freed from guilt. I could see Matsubara's honesty in confessing regardless of the other person's reaction.

After the interview with Matsubara

Matsubara-san is one of my seniors who I look up to, but his perfect work ethic made my goal seem far away. But maybe that was because I didn't know anything about Matsubara-san's thoughts and feelings. From now on, I'll work hard, one step at a time, without rushing! I've been determined. Also, he answered every question in the interview very carefully. I realized once again that I'm attracted to Matsubara-san's polite personality in everything and to everyone.

So that everyone can work comfortably.
Hideno Okuyama (Sales)

This is Okuyama-san from Sales. During a company-wide meeting, he said, "The most enjoyable moment at work is when I help a customer," which left a strong impression on me, so I took this opportunity to interview him and ask him about his thoughts on work!

Okuyama's work

We introduce each of Monosus' services to our customers. In addition, when we receive an order, we accurately convey the details to our in-house production staff, and act as a bridge to ensure that our customers' requests are realized and the project progresses smoothly.

Q: What do you value in your work?

"I want to have a job that I can love forever.
I want a job where I can enjoy coming to work every day."

Okuyama values the relationships he has with customers and fellow colleagues in order to love his job and continue to find it enjoyable.

Apparently, Ito had previously said the following to Okuyama about his work:

"Mr. Okuyama's job is more like a coordinator than a salesperson."

He thinks about what Monosus can do to help customers with their problems. He acts as a bridge between customers and the in-house production staff. For Okuyama, the most enjoyable part of his job is when he is able to help customers.

Q. Are there any tools that you are particular about?

"The computer is a Let's note (Panasonic)."

The key is to get up and running quickly. Even if he has a small amount of free time, he responds to emails from customers and does small tasks. You can see Okuyama's sincere desire to build trust.

Q: What do you do when you fail?

"Face it head-on and get hurt head-on."

"Rather than trying to forget, I think about it again and again. Otherwise, I'll forget that I failed." When I fail, Okuyama thinks about it carefully and faces the failure head-on. Then, when I get home, I find comfort in my pet dog, Ku-san.

After the interview with Mr. Okuyama

I am still too busy with my own concerns, and my own satisfaction and fulfillment are directly linked to my enjoyment. However, Ms. Okuyama is a generous woman who feels happy when she helps customers and colleagues. Perhaps it is because of her experience and position in the job that she feels this way, but I also want to be someone who can express my true self while also thinking about the enjoyment and comfort of those around me.

Seriously, be flexible.
Nanae Tayama (Quality Control Department)

This is Tayama-san from the quality control department. I often have to deal with her in the work flow, but in Tayama-san's case, she doesn't draw a line too far between her own work and is always considerate of adjacent fields. We asked her about her thoughts on work!

Tayama's work

My main job is to perform quality control, such as making sure that the pages created by the coders comply with the design. I also act as the liaison for the Coding Factory Department, receiving work from the coders, checking projects, and coordinating resources within the Quality Control Department.

Q: What do you value in your work?

"Make eye contact when speaking."

By looking people in the eye when speaking, you can check whether your message is truly being conveyed to them. When Tayama was in junior high school, he was the captain of the brass band club and managed a total of 60 members. The ability to see and interact with people that he developed during that time is connected to how he handles his work.

Q: Is there anything you consciously incorporate into your life?

"Get the job done faster than anyone else."

Tayama-san is a woman with a gentle demeanor, but she says that she hates to lose. Although she says that she "doesn't care about things that she doesn't care about," she is also very conscious of not wanting to cut corners when it comes to her work. She is always conscious of not only speed, but also communicating the contents of the checks so that the coder can easily make corrections.

After the interview with Tayama

She was smiling throughout the interview and had a relaxed atmosphere, but her answers were all serious and I sensed her inner strength. Despite her strength and honesty, she is also able to work well with others because she is always flexible and considerate, trying to understand the people around her. I would like to become a woman who has her own core but is also flexible and able to work with others.

I will face anything.
Ayumi Tachiwaki (Webmaster Support Department)

This is Tatewaki-san, who joined us at the same time as me. Although we are in different departments, we joined the company at the same time , and we share similar concerns. She never turns a blind eye to any hardships, and always thinks deeply about them until she is able to understand them. Although we are at the same time, I respect her deeply, so I asked her about work!

Mr. Tatewaki's work

I am in charge of directing operational projects. I am responsible for producing projects that require continuous updates, such as updating pages, and for issuing instructions to the production staff.

Q: What do you value in your work?

"Work while imagining yourself as a grown-up."

If you overcome it, you should be able to overcome it more easily the next time. That's why you want to grow. Tachiwaki says that he is a lazy person, so he wants to get his work done efficiently and go home early. Even though he says that, he is actually strict with himself and repeatedly says, "I want to grow more."

Q: What do you do when you fail?

"I think until I find the answer."

She will continue to think about it until she finds the answer within herself, and during that time she will not tell anyone. Whether it takes months or years, she will keep it to herself until she finds the answer. It's an old habit, and not telling anyone is not painful. If she doesn't convince herself, she won't understand it properly. She is a strong-willed woman who thinks about everything herself.

After the interview with Tatewaki

Tatewaki-san shares her thoughts on every question in the interview. She is someone who faces all things and emotions head-on, including painful and trivial things. Normally, she loves to think about silly things, and has a side to her that makes her laugh off even the smallest things, but through the interview, I realized once again that she is a very thoughtful woman. She is humble, but I think she is a strong person.

Let's take their words as inspiration and work flexibly

During the interview, I felt the happiness of having someone to look up to. There is a sense of fulfillment that can only be achieved by having someone to look up to, and every day is fun, and even when things get tough, it gives you the strength to look forward.

I also learned that all four of them have a feminine "softness" that has a positive effect on their work. I want to be more considerate and flexible and behave more gently.

In the interviews, I learned that each person works with a variety of thoughts and feelings. Some of them are beyond my reach. However, I am sure that even if I face some difficulties in the future, I will be able to overcome them by using what I have heard today as a foundation.

Like them, I want to work with my own thoughts and my own sense of rightness.
