Hello, this is Matsubara.
I am in charge of sales support at " Coding Factory " operated by Monosus.
Another part of my job is updating the CF (Coding Factory) service site.
The CF service site underwent a major renewal at the end of last year. The renewal process was also introduced on the Monosasu site, so please check it out if you are interested.
To a partner who can empathize with you.
CODING FACTORY's journey towards website renewal.
This time we will introduce "CF News", which is the main content of this site.
CF News is Coding Factory's official magazine that has been running since the service began in 2007.
Until March 2021, we will be reporting in print and on our website, but now we will be announcing updates to the website via email newsletter.
The content is broadly divided into two parts.
The first is "CF TOPICS," which introduces Coding Factory from various angles, including its initiatives and thinking.
The second is "Coding Methodology," which introduces the latest information and tips on the theme of "technical information that can be used in production sites today." It is written in rotation by CF engineers and directors.
Since 2007, these two articles have been updated almost monthly, so as of 2022, we have a considerable amount of articles in stock! From among them, we have picked out some recommended articles that we would like many people to read.
CF TOPICS category
We'll show you how to centrally manage all your team members' production resources.
At Monosus, we often work on projects across teams, job types, and locations (Tokyo, Tokushima, Yamaguchi, Thailand). Although we share all members' schedules on Google Calendar, we didn't have visibility into what work each member was currently doing or how busy they were.
We then introduced a "resource management table" and "operational rules" created using Google Sheets, which helped us to largely resolve the issues that had been occurring within the company.
This article introduces the issues to be addressed before implementation, the structure of the resource management table, and operational rules.
What kind of meetings do Coding Factory hold?
CF holds a variety of regular and irregular meetings.
Among these, we will introduce the program items and specific content of the "Project Meeting," which has been held once a week without interruption for over 10 years.
Incidentally, the content of each month's CF TOPICS is also decided at this meeting.
We will send you the availability for the next two months.
CF's goal is to be "YOUR CODING PARTNER."
In order to become coding partners, we are also considering and implementing measures for communication with you. One of these efforts is the biweekly email distribution, and we would like to share our thoughts on it.
Coding Methodology
From Coding Methodology, we'd like to introduce you to the top 3 articles in the latest access rankings!
Each article provides practical methods related to web production that are worth keeping in your closet.
No.1
Automatically extract web page data with Google Spreadsheets
2nd place: Unexpected pitfalls when working with multiple people: Recheck the line feed code settings
No.3
Avoid common pitfalls when exporting images in Adobe XD
summary
What do you think? As I was putting together this article I was re-reading the CF News and the CF TOPICS sections brought back vivid memories of what was happening with CF at the time, giving me a nostalgic feeling and a sense of going back to my roots.
Also, Coding Methodology has articles that fully reflect the personalities of the production team who wrote them, so I think you will enjoy reading those parts as well.
