MONOSUS
ICECREAMING MAG

A 4-month intensive camp to seriously learn about the Web.
We are now looking for students for the 4th term of the Kamiyama Monosasu School!

Hello, I'm Yosuke Ito.
Today I will be appearing as the principal of the 4th term of Kamiyama Monosasu Juku.

The Kamiyama Monosasu Juku was launched in 2015 as part of a human resource development initiative.
As we have often introduced on the Monosasu website, this is an employment-based vocational training program in which students from all over the country come together and learn web technology while living in Kamiyama Town, Tokushima Prefecture.

Kamiyama Monosasu Juku's history・1st term (November 2015 - March 2016): Coding-focused curriculum ・2nd term (July 2016 - December 2016): Coding + Web writing combined curriculum ・3rd term (July 2017 - December 2017): Front-end engineer training curriculum

Of the 28 people who have graduated so far, 16 are currently active as members of Monosus.
We have now decided to open the fourth term and are now recruiting new students.

Studying in Kamiyama, Tokushima Prefecture

Kamiyama Town is attracting attention as a model for regional revitalization, and Monosus has actually been deepening its involvement in the town in various ways over the past few years.

In addition to projects such as the renewal of the Kamiyama Town Hall website, the Kamiyama satellite office has been in full operation since 2017. Eight staff members, including graduates of the second batch of the Kamiyama Monosasu Juku, live in Kamiyama and are involved in web production work.

In addition, the Food Hub Project, jointly launched by the Kamiyama Town Office, Kamiyama Tsunagu Corporation , and Monosus, promotes "locally produced food" and is working to circulate local agriculture and food culture within the region and pass it on to the future.

A place where you can experience new ways of working and living.
We would like to continue the fourth term of Monosasu Juku, which can only be realized in Kamiyama.

We want to nurture people who are serious about working in the web industry.
Come! Future web engineers and web directors

In the fourth term, we will be offering two courses: the Web Engineer Course and the Web Director Course . Up until now, we have basically only been recruiting for one course, but this time, based on the experience of the third term, we have decided to offer two courses.

In the third term last year, we implemented a comprehensive curriculum that included knowledge of areas such as HTML/CSS as well as design (UI/UX) and back-end engineering, with the aim of training "front-end engineers". As the students learned, they were able to determine their own aptitude and expand their career paths, from engineering-specialized, to director-oriented, to creator-oriented including design, etc.

I have been working at the forefront of the front-end of the web industry for over 10 years, and I feel that the front-end will play an increasingly larger role in the future. In particular, what is needed in the field is engineers and directors with a wide range of knowledge.

An engineer with knowledge not only of coding but also of adjacent fields such as design and servers. A director with a level of technical knowledge that allows him to have a good conversation with engineers even without doing the work himself.

First, we will start by learning web technology, and after acquiring basic skills, we will further develop the necessary skills for each course and bring them to a level where they can enter the field. Based on last year's curriculum, the image is to aim more clearly for "web engineers" and "web directors".

I have been involved with Kamiyama Monosasu Juku since its first term, and I would like to use my experience and skills to the fullest to develop the kind of talent that is truly needed in the web industry.

If you are serious about making a living in the web industry, please come and join us!

The fourth term will begin in September.
Why not take the four months until December to get away from your everyday routine, absorb as much new knowledge as you can, and take a step towards becoming a new you?

Please take a look at the application page on the Nihon Shigoto Hyakka website for more details, the thoughts of the company's president, Hayashi, and the experiences of the third-term students.

We want people like this to come
  • Honest and proactive
  • Someone who is persistent and responsible
  • Those who want to make a living through "manufacturing"
  • People who are excited about new web knowledge and technologies
  • People who can respect themselves and others
  • People who are interested in new ways of living and working
  • People who have doubts about their current work style
  • Those who want to start something new
  • People who feel inspired by learning about other people's thinking

The 4th Kamiyama Monosasu Juku will be a new challenge for us.
