Hello, this is Takeda from the Coding Factory Club (hereinafter referred to as CF).
This month's MVP has been decided as Hiromasa Sunami from the Compact Disc Club!
Since last summer, he has been working as a front-end engineer at a certain client company. While working hard to build new services for the client, he is also eager to acquire new technologies, and even though he is rarely in the company, he values communication with the team members. This attitude was recognized and led to the award.
Only one person said, "I want to go."
Around May of last year, a company we do business with approached me about working full-time in their company.
Personally, I was transferred to CF leader in January of last year and had begun to interact with my team members, and was just about to start thinking about what we should do as a team from now on. So when I heard I would be made a permanent resident, I was happy, but at the same time, I felt a bit sad that I had just started to build a team.
As soon as we asked who wanted to work permanently, Sunami-kun was the first to raise his hand. The reason was, "I want to improve my technical skills." I could sense his strong desire to study, so I thought, "Oh! He's here after all!" He always keeps things in order and is good at producing. Seeing how he's worked up until now, I didn't have any major concerns about sending him out, both in terms of communication and technical aspects.
Independence as a professional
Since he started working at the company, he has been studying so hard that I wonder when he sleeps after work. And as he said when he was first assigned to work at the company, he actively gives feedback to the CF members on what he learned at the company, and brings an outside perspective to the company. Even when he is in a remote location, he also gives technical advice through the company's chat tool.
I think the biggest change in Sunami-kun since he started working at the company is that he has become more independent as a professional. When he goes to the company, he is always carrying a lot of responsibility because he is the face of Monosus. I think it is because of this responsibility and tension that he is proactive in learning, increasing communication both inside and outside the company, and consciously trying to create a comfortable working environment.

An invisible presence
I'm not sure if people noticed that he was no longer in the office, or if his presence has become more pronounced because he's been away on a permanent basis, but even though Kakunami only comes back to the office about twice a month, I feel like he has become a very present person even when he's not around.
This may be a type of relationship that can only be built by not being inside the company, but when he sees the chat conversations between internal members, he catches up on things he notices or points out potential dangers, even in cases that he is not involved in, and is adept at pointing them out.
In the process of absorbing new things, Kakunami's perspective has broadened. He is now able to notice problems within the company and propose solutions because he can see things objectively from the outside.
When you're inside an organization, even if you try to be careful, your perspective can become narrow. As a leader, I'm very grateful that you notice areas that might be overlooked and lend a hand.
I look forward to your future works!
At first glance, he appears to be foul-mouthed and cynical, but in reality he is like a reliable older brother who cares about everyone.
It is because he himself is constantly learning that people want to talk to him about it, and perhaps it is because he is far away that he wants to actively interact with everyone.
I was worried that having a member stationed there would cause him to become separated from the team, but thanks to Kakunami's experience, I learned that there are ways to deepen team ties even when apart.
In the future, I would like you to continue to use what you have learned and to be involved in improving our internal operations. However, for now, please continue to build good relationships with our customers at your current location and absorb as much as you can!
I believe that this will broaden Kakunami's horizons in many areas, both in his work and in his personal life!!
Comments on receiving MVP award
Thank you for recommending me as an MVP!
Rumors of a permanent position began to circulate around spring of last year.
It feels like just yesterday that I indulged in my selfish wish and said, "I want to go to improve my skills!"I felt anxious about having to hand over the projects I had been involved in before I started working here to various different people, but with the support of the other members, I was able to send them off smoothly, and I am grateful for that.
When I first started, I was worried every day because the level difference was so great that I wondered if I would even last a month... But I was blessed with great people and a great environment, and now I feel so sorry that I am able to work so happily and freely.
Recently, because I am currently based at my workplace, I have begun to think about the occasional day I return to the office and consider what I should share on my next return to the office as my own project.
There's still a lot of time left, but I hope to come back having grown even more!
