The MVP award recognizes the person who "worked the hardest this month!" In January 2026, the award went to production director Kobayashi.
Generative AI has been a hot topic lately, and many members at Monosus are interested in it and using it. This time, Kobayashi, inspired by his regular work, organized a new initiative: a "Generative AI Case Study Workshop." The feedback from the participants was excellent, and it seems that both the organizers and participants gained a lot of valuable insights.
Here are some comments for Kobayashi (Makocchan), who took the lead in this workshop, from planning to running the event on the day.

At the end of 2025, we held an internal workshop on "Generative AI Case Studies." Makoto (Kobayashi), despite his busy schedule, planned the workshop and, with the cooperation of other unit members, led the project to completion, somehow managing to make it a reality. Many people from within the company participated, but I wanted to recommend it so that everyone who couldn't participate could also learn about his efforts.
He was already particularly interested in new technologies within the unit, and he would often find ways to improve work efficiency using generative AI and share them with the members in the unit's group chat.
Because of their strong supportive nature—the desire to share things that might be helpful to others and to help those who don't know how to use them—the fact that they dedicated their personal time to seeing this project through to the end, driven by the desire to let more people in the company know about the usefulness of the generation AI, is truly remarkable.
Furthermore, this project involved inviting clients we regularly work with to serve as special lecturers, conducting lectures and workshops. The fact that we were even able to make such a request was a testament to the excellent relationships we have with our clients.
The fact that they are willing to cooperate beyond the scope of ordering and receiving orders is truly wonderful and something to be grateful for. The fact that they were able to approach you properly, following all the necessary steps and procedures to avoid any offense, and that you readily agreed, is surely thanks to the trust that Makoto has cultivated over time, and I wanted to commend them for that. Congratulations!

Congratulations, Makoto-chan! I participated in the Generative AI workshop held in December. It was a truly educational workshop, and I'm grateful as a participant.
What surprised me when I participated was that it was a much larger workshop than I had expected. There were many participants, and it lasted about three hours, all of which were very well-structured. There was time for lectures, time for workshops, and time for reflection. I think it's really amazing how they managed to pull it off while involving the client and the Monosus team members, such as Mr. Sugie and Mr. Fujiwara. It's easy to say "let's try it," but actually seeing it through to completion is truly impressive.
Also, what impressed me most about participating this time was how much fun Makoto seemed to be having. It wasn't just out of a sense of obligation or duty, but he seemed to be genuinely enjoying himself. That atmosphere carried over to the participants, making it a fun gathering. In that sense, it was a very meaningful event. Thank you very much.

Congratulations on winning the MVP award!
Let me explain a little about how I came to recommend Makoto-chan this time. It all started with a one-on-one meeting with Makoto-chan. When she visited the client's office, she consulted with someone knowledgeable about the use of generative AI, and was given a lot of very detailed and inspiring ideas on how to use it.
Makoto herself seemed to have really enjoyed and been excited by that time, and it all started when she asked, "Could we turn this learning experience into a company event?"
This relates to what Tatsuta-san said earlier, but what I found most impressive this time was how brilliantly he transformed the "passion" that arose within him into a tangible form. I think that this kind of passion often fades away halfway through because the preparation is difficult or you don't know how to do it. But Makoto-chan never let that passion die down.
Why did this go so well? I believe it's because of the skills Makoto has cultivated through his daily work, such as preparation, organization, and communication. Those solid skills became the format, allowing his genuine enthusiasm to be grounded in the form of an "event."
I felt that this truly served as a model case for turning individual passion into tangible results, and that's why I recommended them. Congratulations!

Although I received the MVP award this time, this project wouldn't have been possible without the cooperation of all the unit members. Furthermore, it wouldn't have been possible to hold this event without the participation of so many company members who showed interest, adjusted their schedules, and took part despite the busy end-of-year period. Thank you all so much.
The reason for this was that I had a very enjoyable and educational experience when I learned a lot about generative AI from a client who was invited as a special lecturer this time, and I wanted to share that with the rest of the company!
I was very happy to think that the enthusiasm and passion of Ms. Tatsuta and Ms. Yamauchi were conveyed to everyone, even just a little, through their recommendation messages. For me personally, being able to carry out this project, fueled by passion rather than as a job or obligation, was a valuable experience.
Furthermore, the fact that we were able to conduct a workshop of that scale within the company, using a hybrid approach of offline (office) and online methods, has been a valuable learning experience for future planning within the company.
This experience has been very educational for me in terms of how I will utilize AI technology. I would also be happy if this serves as a catalyst for promoting its use within the company.
Thank you so much for the MVP award!
