The MVP award recognizes the person who "worked the hardest this month!" In April 2026, the award went to Tobari, a staff member of MONOSUS Food Research Institute/EverFresh Cafe.
Amidst the changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, Tobari has supported the cafe through trial and error alongside the staff. Leveraging her naturally gentle personality, she has helped sell out products and brought smiles to customers' faces. Beyond that, her meticulous attention to detail and willingness to take on challenging tasks provide invaluable support for the shop's foundation. Here are some comments about Tobari, who cherishes the "extra touch" of wanting customers to have a meaningful experience, and continues to cultivate the cafe into a comfortable and relaxing space.
Monosus Monthly MVP
At Monosus, we select and award an MVP every month. Starting in February 2026, we launched a "two-person selection system" where members from both the "Production/Headquarters Department" and the "Food/Headquarters Department" each recommend an MVP, so that the hard work of more members in their respective fields can be seen.
Furthermore, since the members selected by headquarters play roles across all solutions, they make recommendations in both selection processes.

Congratulations on winning the MVP award, Ms. Tobari. Ms. Tobari has not only achieved outstanding results, but also shown meticulous attention to detail that others may not even notice, and I believe she is truly an indispensable presence that supports the foundation of the store. What surprises me most is Ms. Tobari's ability to recommend products. It's no exaggeration to say that she has the best track record in the store. When she stands at the register and recommends products, it leads to sell-outs, and with her natural sales talk and personality, I see customers leaving with smiles on their faces thanks to her gentle way of speaking. Of course, she enjoys what she does, but I nominated her for the MVP award not only because she enjoys what she does, but also because she takes the initiative to do difficult and dirty work. Congratulations on winning the award.

What Takahashi-san just said sums it all up, but Fujimura-san and I joined Everfresh Cafe right when things were tough, and they've been working with us for a long time since then. While Takahashi-san and the other members are always stepping forward, she's been there to support us from behind, and we're so grateful for that. More than anything, I think the fact that she's not only at work but also attentive to people's expressions and makes sure they're okay, both emotionally and personally, is what contributes to the current atmosphere at Everfresh, so I'm always thankful for that.

- MONOSUS Corporate Food Research/EverFresh Cafe Staff, Tobari
I am surprised and delighted to receive such a wonderful award as MVP. When I started working at Everfresh Cafe, it was right at the end of the pandemic. Gradually, more and more customers started coming in, and my staff and I continued to operate while constantly trying new things. We thought about how we could make customers want to come back to the cafe again and again, and as a result, we started hearing comments like, "The cafe is a place of healing." That makes me happier than anything else.
We strive to add an extra touch of thought to our customers. If someone is sighing or looks tired, we might say, "This coffee will cheer you up!" when we serve it, or we might strike up a lively conversation about their hobbies. We want our customers to have a meaningful time, thinking, "That food and coffee was delicious," and "I'm glad I stopped by the cafe."
Seeing your happy smiles is what motivates me the most.
