FarmMart & Friends

Summary

FarmMart & Friends is a donut and grocery store planned jointly by MONOSUS Shokuken, whose motto is "Good Food, Good Job! Good jobs start with good food," and the Food Hub Project, which has created a small food circulation system in Kamiyama Town, Tokushima Prefecture, under the slogan "locally produced, local food."

Following in the footsteps of Kamapan & Friends Natural Products Center, which opened for a limited time at Ginza Sony Park in October 2020 (closing at the end of September 2021), the store is being renovated in a corner of Monosus' headquarters office in Yoyogi, Shibuya Ward, to create a store with even more local roots. The architectural design was overseen by Nagasaka Tsune of Schemata Architects in Sendagaya, and the development of the donuts was overseen by Nomura Yuri, owner of eatrip in Harajuku.

FarmMart & Friends offers two types of donuts that allow you to taste the ingredients, and also makes jams in the kitchen using fruits and vegetables delivered directly from farmers. They also sell fresh, pesticide-free vegetables, additive-free seasonings, natural wines, and craft beers. You can also eat in at the cafe or stand-up bar.

On the way to or from school, on a walk with your dog, in the afternoon when you want to change your mood from work, or in the evening when you want to have a drink by yourself. People visit for all sorts of occasions. People who want to live delicious and healthy life even in the city. Behind the products lined up at FarmMart, there is always the face of a sincere maker. Connecting with the natural richness of the countryside, we realize a happy cycle between people who eat and people who make. We hope to grow such a store together with everyone involved.
