At Monosus, we select the person who can say, "I worked the hardest this month!" and hold an awards ceremony at a monthly meeting where everyone gathers.
The July 2021 MVP award went to Harada, who recently set up a system to allow Monosus's new members, who have been increasing in number recently, to interact online in order to create an opportunity for them to talk with other members.
We introduce comments from Kojima, who recommended the award, Harada, the award winner, and Representative Hayashi.

The other day, we had a networking event set up for new employees and senior employees, and we were able to interact with everyone in the company. Harada-san was in charge of planning and preparing for this event, and it was great that he was so proactive in it.
I thought it was wonderful that the new employees who started working in April came up with this project, especially since they had few opportunities to interact with other people in the company due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the recommendation to work remotely.
At the company, he often talks to Matsumoto-san (a newbie) and teaches him various things. He also gathers newbies together to review their coding. I thought it was really nice that he actively encourages interaction in these places. I wanted to use this opportunity to spread this kind of interaction more within the company, so I recommended Harada-san.
Also, on a personal note, the dormitory project I was working on ended, and after that I wanted to create some kind of space for everyone to interact, and I wanted to do it this year, but I was hesitant because of the current situation. But after seeing Harada-san, I realized that it's really important to actually take action. I was really inspired, and I learned a lot.
Thank you very much. I look forward to working with you in the future!

Thank you. I'm happy!
I think this was possible because we set up a networking event for new and senior employees this week. Okubo-san suggested the event, and I just went along with it and announced it, but on the day of the event, all the senior and new employees participated, and the Meet room was more lively than I expected, so I think it went really well.
Personally, I've been thinking for a while now that I might actually be the MVP (laughs). On the day of the general meeting, before I came to work, I told my wife, "Today might be the MVP."
"I'll just wait without getting my hopes up."
This exchange was repeated over and over.
I would like to continue aiming to be MVP in the future by doing things at the last minute like this!
I'm looking forward to going home today so I can tell my wife, "I finally caught it."
Message to Harada
- Representative Hayashi
I remember Rei-kun (Harada) well from when he was a student at the cram school, and I've always been worried about him.
From the first time I met him, I thought he was quite an edgy guy, so I watched over him (laughs).
I remember having an interview at the end of last year because I wanted to become "of" (one of the steps in the personnel system), but it wasn't decided in one interview, so I had to interview again.
What I thought was amazing was when he said, "Right now the numbers are not enough, but I want to earn more, and I want to raise my salary, but what should I do?"
When I asked him, "Why don't you ask someone who is making money?" he actually asked a lot of different people in the company and said, "I've started to see how to make money."
From there, he started simulating it himself and said, "I think you can make money if you do it this way, so please make it 'no'."
But when he actually became a member of the "No" team, he achieved results that exceeded his expectations.
That was a relief, but now my working hours are getting longer, which is a bit worrying.
Even in the midst of such a busy schedule, he created an opportunity for newcomers to interact with each other, which I also enjoyed. He said he would do it himself. Some people get tired of organizing events, but I'm glad that Rei-kun seems to enjoy it.
Personally, I've been talking to you more recently and you're one of the members I really support. I'm very happy. Congratulations.
