The Monosasu website celebrates its third anniversary
Come rain or shine, we have 720 published articles!

Hello, this is Omura from the editorial department.

The Monosasu Site is celebrating its third anniversary this month.
Since November 2015, we have been updating the site every business day and have published 720 articles.
About work, about members, and about people who are associated with Monosus...
Each and every article is important.

Behind each article, there are many smiles, but also many hardships... This time, I would like to look back on the past three years while introducing some of the sections of the Monosasu site.

There are currently 33 corners. This time, we will introduce 12 corners.

Member Introduction

"Member Introduction" is a detailed introduction to one of Monosus' members. Over the past three years, we have introduced 44 members. The articles are written by members who are close to the member being introduced.
When I ask someone to write an article, some people write it quickly, but sometimes it takes a while to finish because they are so close to the person.
It's not often that someone writes about you (especially as an adult). It's exciting for both the writer and the person being written about. Words woven with the other person in mind are more precious than any gift. This article makes you feel that way.

Coder's ramblings

Coding Factory (CF) members delve into areas they are interested in, try things they want to do, and are relays of members who "love technology." In this corner, there are quite a few members who love coding, but don't like writing. It would be a waste not to express that passion on the site! We ask members who would like to hone their skills if they have the time to do so to take the time to write (laughs).

What to look for in design

They love drawing illustrations and are sensitive to new information. They have a wide range of experiences before becoming designers, such as hosting events, working in music or dance, or working in apparel. They also have a wide range of perspectives.
They consider commonalities between their past experiences and designs, analyze designs that capture women's hearts, summarize methods of input, etc. There are many articles that give a glimpse into the base of each design, even before it is shaped.

Webmaster on the move!

"Webmasters on the Move!" is written by members of the Webmaster Support (WS) Department. Coding, design, writing... our members are an all-rounder who manage our customers' websites. They always write articles carefully thinking about what they want to communicate at the moment, such as how to write code with operation in mind, or the basics of the web that they want to share with their customers. As the WS Department is split between Yoyogi and Kamiyama, they are still experimenting with how to communicate with each other. This is also candidly written about.

BtoB Research

What is a website that is unique to BtoB? The BtoB team is researching this every day. We have compiled information on important points to keep in mind when renewing a corporate website, content suggestions, and how to create an attractive recruitment website. We also interview clients who have completed their renewal to look back on the project.

Web Director docx.

A director acts as a bridge between clients and the production team. He has compiled the work techniques he has acquired through experience, drawing on past failures to improve work efficiency, plan schedules, how to take minutes, and communication methods and knowledge for ensuring a project progresses smoothly. His article on how to use a task management table using a spreadsheet is still popular today.

People checking

Members of the quality control department thoroughly check the completed website. They always concentrate hard on their work when they are checking. Perhaps because of their daily checks, their eyes shine when they check things in their private lives as well. They take notes on fun things they do every day, notice new clothes worn by members, observe the "lichens" that live on the streets... They write about the things they value in their work, and the music that is essential for their daily motivation.

Work and life in Thailand

This corner is mainly written by the Japanese director of Monosus Thailand (hereinafter Monotai). Some members joined Monotai locally, while others traveled to Thailand to join Monotai. They write about work-related matters such as Monotai's production system, which connects Japan and Thailand, as well as various things they learned by living in Thailand. Even though they are involved in work, there are many aspects of Thailand that Japanese members do not understand. Through the articles, Japanese members are able to deepen their understanding of what Monotai members are living like.

Is our work connected to society?

This corner is written by members of the Production Department, which also includes the editorial department. Starting with Manabe, who is working on the Food Hub Project, we tackle some serious themes, such as thinking about whether the projects we are involved in can change society, and thinking about our own work style. Many of our members are based in the company full-time, so we don't get to see each other often, and the articles are also an important way to connect with each other.

Yoyogi Walking Map

Recently, the area has expanded beyond Yoyogi, but the main focus is on introducing members' favorite shops close to Monosus in Yoyogi. Recently, there have also been articles about "walking around" parks and the history of the towns they live in. Unlike their usual work, they interview shop owners and listen to their stories, and by doing research, they seem to like the shops and places even more. Published articles have also led to everyone going out together.

The ruler that goes round

"Meguru Measuring Ruler" is a section where we ask about the "ruling rod" of the work and life of people related to Monosus members. We have interviewed 27 people so far. We talk in depth with people who support Monosus, including designers, photographers, writers, video directors, and others who we work with, as well as friends in Tokushima Prefecture, where our satellite office is located, and the owner of an izakaya near our Yoyogi office. This is a very important corner that allows us to connect more deeply through the articles.

I'm selling your company!

Our sales team members are the ones who introduce companies that they think are the best, and we have introduced 7 companies so far.
Monosus itself is exploring the way the company should be by starting a full flextime system and creating satellite offices, but the companies we interview have such good teamwork and individuality that when we talk to them, we think, "I want to work at this company!" We get hints for how the company should be.

Updates continue

There are many sections I would like to introduce and articles I would like you to read, but that's all for now.

Three years ago, there was a great deal of confusion within the company about the unique style of having members update and write the blog every business day.
But for now, I've been able to update almost every day. This is all thanks to the hard work of each and every member of Monosus.

Of course, there are some members who like writing and some who don't.
However, once you decide to do something, Monosus members will face it head on.

The editorial team is always the first to read the article, and sometimes we can't help but cry as we look at the screen at the words that come out of the writer's honesty (although we often laugh at the funny expressions).

While going about my daily work, the article is always in the back of my mind...
As an editorial team, we are filled with gratitude for taking the time out of your busy schedules to do this.

As I looked back and reread the article in preparation for writing it, I once again felt that the person I was at that time was packed into it.

Even as people become adults, they continue to grow and change.
As the dozens of members change every day, the company Monosus itself is also constantly changing. As a media outlet that conveys the ever-changing and multifaceted Monosus, I hope that the Monosus site will continue to be a living space where the voices of each member can be heard.

What kind of articles will be produced in Monosasu now in its fourth year?
We hope you will continue to support the Monosasu website.
