The MVP award is given to the person who "worked the hardest this month!" The September 2022 award went to Director Matsuoka, who just joined the company in February of this year.
Even though he didn't know what to do, he took a step forward and asked questions, which allowed things to move forward smoothly. Here are some comments from Matsuoka, who remained calm and pushed the project through even in difficult times.

As I'm sure you all know, the WOOD STOCK YARD website has been launched.
Mr. Matsuoka was in charge of directing and project management for the overall construction of the service, including the creation of the e-commerce site.
This was probably his first project since coming to Monosus and he was suddenly put in charge of building an e-commerce site, so he probably had no idea what to do, but he provided brilliant direction and management, and saw it through to successful launch.
E-commerce sites have complicated systems such as servers and delivery, and that alone must have been difficult, but this time the designers were external, so I had to communicate with them, discuss the content with Hayashi, and work out the details. Also, e-commerce sites are different from normal sites in that they require communication with the company that manages the products, and coordination regarding delivery, so I think it was really multi-layered and difficult.
The most difficult part this time was the delivery, which has very special specifications, and we consulted with our in-house engineers (Kakunami-san, Matsunaga-san, and Motohashi-san) many times about it. I'm sure Matsuoka-san had a lot of questions, like "What's an API?", but he was always there in the meetings and we managed to get the system in place.
I tried to imagine what it would be like if I were in charge of project management for this project, and I can imagine it would have been quite tough, so I'm really grateful for all your hard work.
Also, there was something I thought was wonderful about Mr. Matsuoka throughout this project. Even though it must have been so difficult, he never complained. He always started every meeting by saying "thank you" to everyone. I thought that was really wonderful. I think the reason we were able to make it to the point of releasing the project without any problems was because Mr. Matsuoka always approached things in a positive and constructive way and steadily moved things forward.
I will be working with you again in the future, so let's do our best together. Thank you for your hard work. And congratulations!!

Congratulations, Mao-chan!
Kojima-san also had a similar story, but Mao-chan and I have regular meetings and I hear a lot of stories from her, but she never complains, saying things like "It was tough" or "It was like this!", and she just talks normally, so I thought it went smoothly. But I heard a lot of things from people around her that were not the case.
Kojima said, "Matsuoka is amazing! Hayashi throws the ball, but he passes it around and passes it back to Hayashi, so it ends up being Hayashi's task!" Matsunaga also said, "Matsuoka looks like a quiet person, but he's not like that at all! He says what he's supposed to say no matter what position the other person is in, and he gets things moving forward properly. I'm sure he didn't know what to do, but he got things moving forward properly, which is amazing!"
I've never heard anything like that from Matsuoka-san, but I've heard about it from a lot of people, which makes me really happy.
I am also very happy to receive this MVP award! Congratulations!!

Congratulations. This is probably the fastest time you've ever achieved this MVP since joining the company. As a member working on the project with you, I'm happy to hear your comment. As soon as you joined the company, you had to work on a Shopify customization project and API integration, so I'm sure it was really difficult.
We ended up having to develop an app that would connect to the API right before the website was due to open, and the process was a lot of work. I'm sure it was also very difficult for the team that actually developed it, so I'm really grateful for that.
However, before that, there was the hellish task of sorting all of the tens of thousands of postal codes, and Matsuoka did that all by himself.
He looked like he was having a hard time, but his expression was calm as usual. But right after the site was launched, he said he was so tense that he "took to bed." I think it must have been really tough for him.
It's really easy to work with him. Mr. Matsuoka throws tasks back to me, which I'm very happy about. Only Mr. Nagai or Mr. Sakuyama do that. "Mr. Hayashi, I can't write this copy, so please write it down for me," he said, and gave me the task back, so I was very happy that he was using me. lol He doesn't hesitate to communicate with outsiders, and there's no hesitation there. I think there are some things that are difficult to ask, but he takes a step forward and asks, so things move forward properly. He's not the type to communicate cheerfully with "wow," but he's not indifferent or businesslike either. He communicates very well with various people, and I personally respect the fact that he can work smoothly.
We are currently working on another project together, so I look forward to working with you.

Regarding the launch of the Woodstock Yard website, there were many things I regret and think could have been done better in the project, but I am filled with gratitude for the kind comments I received from everyone.
This was the first project I was involved in since joining the company in February this year, and I approached it with the hope that I could be of some help with whatever I could do now. I wanted to help convey the thoughts of Hayashi-san, the lumber company, and all the other people involved to the world, and when I was able to successfully put my thoughts into shape by launching the website, I was suddenly in tears.
I feel that this was a very valuable experience, and I would like to utilize what I learned in this project in future projects. Thank you very much.
