The MVP award is given to the person who "worked the hardest this month!" The July 2024 award went to front-end engineer Sunami.
I usually work at Kamiyama Town Hall as a local revitalization businessman, providing support to promote business improvement digital transformation from within the town hall.
This time, he is in charge of developing an app for another local government. Having worked in a city hall up until now, he has been searching for the best way to proceed with the project, and has gone beyond the role of an engineer to take on this new challenge, from sales to delivery. Here are some comments from Sunami.

The short-term release of the local government app has been very hard work since March, so I wanted to show my appreciation for all the hard work. I also want everyone to know about Mr. Sunami's work.
The client who was commissioned by the local government was someone I happened to exchange business cards with when I visited Fukuoka last year to inspect Kintone Hive. Mr. Sunami became the account manager, and over the course of more than a year we built a relationship by explaining what we could do. This project is finally the first one we have received.
It was a sight to see Sunami at the center of everything from sales to contracts, quotations, development, and delivery, and I was impressed by how reliable he was, but also worried about how busy he was. Working as a company employee in Kamiyama while simultaneously juggling short-term development projects required an incredible amount of work, and I imagine it must have been quite tough mentally. Sunami herself said, "I don't think I could have done it if it wasn't for me," and she was pushing herself really hard.
The client was not entirely familiar with how to proceed with a web app project, so we provided them with support and put together the calculation logic necessary for the app, consulting with the main engineer, Motohashi, and the designer, Kikuchi, as we proceeded with development.
As a result, I think we have created a great application with high performance and accessibility. I have learned a lot from the source code that Mr. Motohashi created, so I would like to share my knowledge with the rest of the company.
After the release, the same customer decided to provide a similar system to another local government, and we are currently working on that. We have also been asked to work with another local government in Tokushima Prefecture on introducing a system, and because of his work in Kamiyama Town, they have requested that we work with Mr. Kakunami. It is truly amazing to be contacted by name from another place beyond repeat customers. We respect him as a member of the same company and unit.
All I can do is recommend him as MVP and hope he wins (?), but I hope that I can convey at least a little of my feelings of appreciation.
Thank you so much, Kakunami-san. Let's create something interesting together! Don't push yourself too hard.

Congratulations, Sunami-kun!
Kakunami said he wanted to work on a project with the government, and gradually started by going to Hokkaido with the previous CEO Hayashi and other government officials to do research, and ended up being in charge of introducing the system to Kamiyama Town. He also provides ongoing support while staying at the town hall as a local revitalization entrepreneur. He is now expanding this to other governments and holding conferences with other governments, which I think has taken him beyond the role of an engineer and into the realm of a producer. It's really amazing.
I think administrative projects are very difficult. Of course, I understand that it is a team effort, but seeing it through is easier said than done, and I think it is not easy to keep doing it.
I hope that this achievement will help you to build a stronger team and make projects proceed more smoothly, so if there is anything I can do to support you, either as a company or as an individual, please let me know. Congratulations.

Harada-san has done most of the talking, so I don't have anything to say, but thank you for being MVP.
It was a very difficult project, but when we were asked to do it, we knew that Motohashi-san could create amazing apps, Harada-san was knowledgeable about accessibility, and we had good designers in the company, so even though it was Monosas, we were able to say "we can do it."
I can't do it, but someone else can, so I think we practiced creating together. It's not just me, it's all thanks to you all, so I'd like to go out for drinks with someone with the money I get as an MVP.
