The MVP award is given to the person who "worked the hardest this month!" In December 2021, Director Handa was selected as the first recipient.
After extensive discussions with Chief Director Kurihara, Handa recently found a role that suits him best. Here are some comments from Kurihara, CEO Hayashi, and Handa himself.

congratulations.
First of all, I think most people have never worked with Han D (short for Handa Director), so I will explain what Han D usually does. He mainly works on operational business projects.
One of the benefits of the investment business is that it can generate stable, continuous revenue. Everyone is in charge of multiple projects, and while working within a certain amount of monthly sales, they also work on projects outside of the scope of their investment, which we call individual projects.
Although Han D was also in charge of multiple projects, it was difficult for individual projects other than operations to come up, and he found it hard to reach his personal sales targets, so I think he himself was feeling pressured and worried about the numbers.
Han D is the only member of the Kurihara Unit working in Tokyo, so Han D and I had one-on-one meetings every week to think about how we should go about this year, including talking about things other than just numbers.
At first, we were talking about how we should create new projects, but as the business as a whole and the burden on each individual was increasing, I suggested that we take steps to support everyone.
With multiple projects, we made arrangements with members who were short-staffed or wanted to hire more people to handle them, and by having Han D step in to address the issues that were previously out of reach, the entire project began to run smoothly.
Taking on a project is not an easy task, as each client has their own unique specifications and rules, so we held repeated handover meetings and communicated closely with the project staff, asking questions each time, and I think he was able to make the experience his own.
They have acted with dedication and the results are showing.
During our weekly one-on-ones, they say things like, "It looks like we can achieve our goal this month!" and they've become very positive. I'm very happy to see them saying things like that myself. There's a clear difference in the tone of their voices.
Not only Han D himself, but also the members who he supports are all grateful to Han D, saying things like "He's a great help!" "The burden has been reduced and it's become easier to work!" and "We feel more reassured having Han D here."
thank you.
Anyway, thank you for all your hard work this year. I hope you will continue to support me and everyone else in the future.
Message to Handa
- Representative Hayashi
congratulations.
I remember saying things like "Are you okay?" to Handa-kun many times during our 1-on-1s. This year, we worked on projects together and had more opportunities to attend meetings together. During that time, my impression of him had changed from the time I was worried about him and asked, "Are you okay?"
I think there are still many things he can't do, but even though he can't do them, I could tell that he was "committed to the project" and "switched on." He really took the project personally, and I saw how frustrated he was that he couldn't do it yet, and I thought that was a good stance, and I got the impression that he had become a professional.
I often say that the first person to win the monthly MVP is not the one who wins it alone. Before Handa-kun's switch was on, Tsutomu (Kurihara) was on. "I'll keep an eye on Handa-D." So Handa-kun's switch was on too.
I think every time that both the seniors and the members switch on and grow together. That's Handa-kun's MVP, but I also think it's half Tsutomu's MVP, so I congratulate the two of them.

Thank you. Until now, I didn't have anything I could do by myself or specialize in, so I was wondering what I could do with Monosus. But with Kurihara-san at the center, I was able to help the other members of the unit with their work. By helping everyone with their work, I felt that this role suited me. I'm gradually becoming happier that I can do this. This has been especially true recently. There are still some things I can't do, though. I'm still grateful every day to the other members of the unit who support and teach me.
There are still some things I can't do, but I hope you'll continue to support me. Thank you, as always.
