The MVP award is given to the person who "worked the hardest this month!" In August 2023, the award went to Iino, head chef at MONOSUS Shokken.
Currently, Iino is the head chef of Monosus' food business "MONOSUS Shokuken" and presented his cooking at the company event "Izakaya Monosus" where he was very well received. We will introduce the comments about Iino, including the voices of people smiling after eating the food, and comments such as "I'm glad I worked with you" and "I want to work with you more."

Congratulations Iino-san!
Iino-san is my favorite, so much so that I even have a photo of him hanging on my desk at work!
So I'm even more happy.
Iino's cooking is really delicious, and the conger eel rice bowl I had at Kudan Shokudo the other day was absolutely delicious. That's because, even though it was a really busy day, he only fried three servings each so that everyone could enjoy it. It's freshly fried with lots of love from Iino, so it should be delicious.
When we hold company events such as "Izakaya Monosasu" or sports days, we ask Iino-san to be in charge of cooking, and he always prepares food with us in mind. He is happy to accept even when we leave everything to him. At the end, he makes rice balls with the leftovers and lets us take them home, so that no food goes to waste until the very end.
Above all, it was great to see Iino-san himself enjoying participating in the event and enjoying cooking.
Seeing Iino-san's smile and the smiles on everyone's faces after eating his food is what makes me think how glad I am that Shashokuken has opened at Monosus!
Congratulations!

I recommended Iino-san as the MVP because of his outstanding performance at the "Izakaya Monosasu" event that was held recently.
On that day, the Kudan Shokudo where Iino-san usually works in the kitchen was so busy that they had to stop taking orders for a while. Even after being so busy, he took the trouble to bring ingredients all the way to Yoyogi and cook for more than 30 people, so I think it was a great event.
One thing that particularly impressed me about Iino-san was that he seemed to enjoy preparing the food himself. He must have been exhausted, but he wiped away his sweat, brought in the ingredients, and was smiling as he prepared the food efficiently. I thought that was really wonderful.
Another thing is that even though they only had one hour to prepare, they finished right on time. I thought that was typical of Iino-san of Shashokuken.
It was only thanks to Iino-san's cooking that we were able to have such a fun time. Thank you very much.

Iino-san used to not be that friendly, and apparently he would turn down invitations from his coworkers quite often. When he joined Monosus, he decided that he would not turn down any invitations because he was joining a completely new company that was not just about food and beverage. When we came to Kamiyama and went mountain climbing together, he nearly died as he climbed, and after the climb he said, "I would have definitely turned them down if it had been before" (laughs).
This time too, I think that although it is a very new environment and difficult, they are enjoying it.
Every week, you come to FarmMart & Friends to pick up vegetables that are about to spoil, and use them at Kudan Shokudo. I'm grateful to see you taking such good care of us even though you're busy. Thank you so much for coming despite all the trouble with catering and everything. Congratulations.
Comments about Iino
- Representative Hayashi
I think all the members who have come into contact with Iino-san have experienced his smiling and tolerant personality. Recently, I have had several one-on-one meetings with members of Shashokuken. They all made comments like, "I want to work with Iino-san more" and "I'm glad I got to work with him."
It's been a while since I've felt that athletic vibe at Monosus, but that vibe is still there among Iino and those around him.
But he's not just strict, he's always there to watch over us, and although he's strict, he's also very warm. The members who work with him say things like, "I want to be like you."
He really feels like a master. It gives me a sense of security. It feels like he's standing firmly behind me, but at the same time, he's running on the front lines, which I think is really great.
I think it's really cool that he shows it off by showing how he works, and I really respect him.
I'm happy to be able to work in the same company as you, Iino-san. Please take a break when you can. Congratulations!

When I heard the news that I had won the MVP award, I was just surprised and felt sorry, even though I hadn't done anything. (I thought I had no connection to the MVP award.)
The success of "Izakaya Monosasu"?
For me, the joy of being able to cook for the Monosus members for the first time in a while was greater, so it was more fun than difficult. In fact, everyone enjoyed it, so I'm relieved and really grateful.
When I joined Monosus, it was the first company that wasn't just a food and beverage company, so I thought I'd meet different people than I'd met before, and I decided that I wouldn't turn down any offers I was offered.
I was invited to do things I'm not good at, like exercise, mountain climbing, and DIY, but even though it was tough, I got to meet a lot of different employees and felt like I wanted to give back to Monosus employees by providing them with a meal.
Right now, I am focusing all my energy on making Kudan Shokudo a success, but I also want to be able to provide a lot of food to Monosus employees.
Thank you so much for all the kind comments.
Please come and try our food at Kudan Shokudo.
We look forward to your continued support.
