The MVP award is given to the person who "worked the hardest this month!" The May 2024 award went to Chisato Mochizuki, a member of the headquarters who plays a wide range of roles at Monosus, including general affairs, accounting, and human resources.
MONOSUS Shokuken has opened six new locations between 2020 and April 2024. The sudden changes in the environment have not yet fully caught up with the foundations for smooth administrative processing, and daily operations continue to proceed. The same members are sometimes responsible for setting up the locations, running the sites, and doing the administrative work behind the scenes, which can sometimes put a heavy burden on the company.
In order to put the system in place, starting this year, Mochizuki from headquarters will be in charge of the administrative aspects of MONOSUS Food Research Institute.
Here are some comments from Mochizuki, who is working hard to neatly organize the things that have been gradually building up as "things that need to be done someday," such as dividing up roles and establishing flow, so that he can eventually hand over the baton to the on-site members in a good way.

Shashokuken has grown rapidly as an organization, and we have to deal with a lot of numbers, but the members who work in the food and beverage industry are not good at clerical work. Since we entrusted the clerical work of Shashokuken to Mochizuki-san, he has been doing his job accurately, which has been very helpful. Moreover, we are very grateful for his careful support, taking into account the sales of the stores.
Thank you always!

Congratulations Mochi (Mochizuki)!
Mochi joined the company in November last year, worked part-time for a while, and just became a contract employee in April this year. Since she was originally in the human resources and labor department at her previous job, she has experience there and is able to intuitively understand even complex labor-related tasks without having to spend a lot of time explaining them to her.
For example, when granting paid leave to part-time employees at Shashokuken, the paid leave grant date differs depending on the date of joining the company, and whether or not it is granted depends on the attendance rate, but it takes a lot of time and effort to look into it, so I had a hard time getting started. When I consulted Mochi about it, she immediately understood and took over.
There are about 50 part-time employees at Shashokuken, and all of them will have their contracts renewed at the same time. That time is coming up soon, and for the store managers who will be doing this work for the first time, they prepared documents that clearly explained the tasks and schedules that need to be done, and explained them very carefully. I didn't give them detailed instructions, but they thought about how to communicate things in an easy-to-understand way, had good intuition and insight, and consulted with me at key points. After actually hearing the explanations given to the store managers, I felt that they were really reliable, even though I had only been with the company for six months and had just become a contract employee.
When it comes to managing Shashokuken's numbers, they understand the purpose and why we are doing it, so they consider whether any tasks are unnecessary in the first place, eliminating unnecessary work and leading to increased efficiency.
They are very considerate and will call out to you when they have free time.
This has really helped me a lot. Thank you!!
And congratulations!!

Uemura, who has started to look at the numbers with Shashokuken as the company grows rapidly, was also grateful that working with Mochizuki was going very smoothly.
Mochizuki-san is a labor professional. He has had a lot of experience as a professional at his previous company, and he is always smiling and professional. I am very grateful that he took on the difficult parts of this job.
I didn't really understand the impact of increasing the number of people just by starting a new business and expanding it. Monosus was a company that hired at most 3 or 4 people per year, but when Shashokuken started, 30 or 40 people joined at once, and I couldn't imagine the burden on the headquarters. I'm grateful that everyone has overcome the very difficult parts.
I've been saying this since our first interview, but I think you have a really lovely smile. Congratulations on receiving this award.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.
Actually, I indirectly heard from Sakuyama-san and Okubo-san that "Arai-san praised Mochi!" Since then, I've been filled with gratitude, but I'm even happier to have been selected as MVP this time!
When I hear the comments of Mr. Arai and Mr. Okubo, it sounds as if I'm doing everything by myself, but that's not the case at all. Even though they're both busy with their daily work, they really pay attention to the smallest details and keep a warm eye on my work, so I'm able to work while being moved every day by their support system and everyone's kindness. I want to give back as much as I can, making use of as much of my experience as I can.
To be honest, I have no experience in managing Shashokuken's invoices and figures, so I'm being taught from scratch and I'm nervous every day, but I hope to put in place a proper system so that Shashokuken can continue to grow in the future. Thank you so much again! I look forward to your continued support.
