Telephone Master Kikunaga receives MVP award

The monthly MVP award is given at the general meeting where all employees gather once a month. In December, the award went to Shinsuke Kikunaga from the Marketing Department.

The Marketing Department, which Kikunae belongs to, is, as the name suggests, responsible for both internal and external marketing, including the company's own services and customer websites.
Kikunae belongs to the BtoB team, which makes website proposals to BtoB companies.
This BtoB team not only proposes and creates websites, but also periodically publishes a "corporate website operation status report." This is an activity in which we interview webmasters of BtoB companies and report on the operation of their websites. It started in 2013 and is now in its third year.

In order to compile this report, Kikunaga was primarily responsible for handling interview requests over the phone and conducting on-site interviews.

The BtoB team's activities are also summarized here.

The reason for the award is:
It was a demonstration of his true talent.

In fact, it was not this reporting activity that led to me receiving the MVP award.

Kikunaga is a veteran member of Monosus. He joined the company in 2008, so this is his eighth year. Since then, he has worked on telephone-related jobs, both inbound and outbound. Within the company, Kikunaga is synonymous with telephones.

Monosus offers multiple services. Recently, one of our members has started making proposals over the phone for another service. Our support for that member was recognized and we were awarded the MVP this time.

When supporting members from different departments, they handled the support as if it were their own business, even though it was not their area of responsibility.
I regularly provide guidance while watching how they make phone calls, and at the end of each day I hold a 10-15 minute review interview. To ensure that I can provide effective guidance, I also try making phone calls myself.
Without neglecting his own duties, he has been able to provide excellent support to the other members. And those members have also started to achieve results.

Kikunaga shares his know-how and advice with staff who have just begun making proposals over the phone.

Kikunaga has a strong sense of doing things for everyone and is always looking for something he can do for them. Kikunaga was able to show his true colors and win the MVP award.

In his private life, he also plays in a rock band.
I look forward to seeing even greater success from you both in your personal and professional life.

Comments from the winner, Kikunaga

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to my colleagues at Monosus for always supporting me as I pursue my dream of forming a rock band ( The Crater ) in my private life, and for giving me a role that allows me to utilize my abilities even in this situation.
Thank you always.

I joined Monosus in May 2008. I was introduced to the company by an acquaintance because of their track record in telephone appointments. Currently, I am mainly in charge of proposing the creation of B2B corporate websites.
I was already playing in a band at the time, so I had time constraints such as having to take time off for live shows and not being able to work overtime because of practice, but Monosus was kind enough to accept me and see me as "interesting."

Eight years have passed since then, and there have been times when I was busy with my band activities and work, but I have never had to quit either, and I believe the reason I have been able to get to this point is because Monosus taught me to think for myself and act independently.

One of the reasons I was selected as the MVP this time was because of my "desire to contribute." The reason this desire was born within me was none other than the Monosus culture, which encourages you to think for yourself and act independently without forcing anything on others.
If the garden is dirty, someone will clean it up even if they are busy, if something is broken, someone will fix it or arrange for repairs. Such things are rooted in daily life at Monosus.
I think this has led to me being able to think about my role and act independently even at work.

Having been selected as MVP this time, I am once again filled with gratitude for my beloved Monosus.
thank you very much!
