The MVP award is given to the person who "worked the hardest this month!" The December 2025 award went to Takeda, the manager of Kudan Shokudo, run by MONOSUS Shokuken.
Kudan Shokudo has been steadily increasing the number of customers since it first opened, and the entire team works together to keep things running smoothly. Here are some comments from Takeda, who brings together the people involved in the restaurant and creates a unique atmosphere.

Takeda-san became the manager of Kudan Shokudo in January of this year (2025) and has been working in Kudan for a year. When Kudan Shokudo first opened, it was just after the COVID-19 pandemic ended, so we were only getting around 150 meals a day, but now we're serving an average of 460 meals a day, which is about three times as much. I think this is all thanks to everyone, not just Takeda-san, but also the employees, part-timers, and everyone else, and I think it's great to see how Takeda-san's unique, gentle rhythm creates an interesting sense of unity.
We created the company cafeteria with the support of the headquarters for our personnel evaluation system, and I thought it was great that he was able to be involved in it as a store representative, taking time out of his sales duties. I recommended him, hoping that this could continue.
