Hello, I'm Okuyama, head of the sales department.
This month's MVP is Yoshinaga from the Osaka office.
In fact, he has been selected as MVP many times up until now, but he has had to hold back his tears. But finally! Finally! He has won the MVP award!
In the three full years since the establishment of our Osaka office, we have steadily made cold calls and sales visits, and the number of consultations has gradually increased, leading to increased sales and great results within the sales department, which is the reason we received this award.

Developing the Osaka office through steady sales activities
We started meeting as just a senior and junior when Yoshinaga joined the company in the fall of 2013. In fact, I only learned the details of how he joined the company from an article written by Tatsuta, who was my boss at the time, introducing Yoshinaga's team members .
Before setting up the Osaka office, Yoshinaga went to Tokyo for about three months to train as a sales representative for Coding Factory, and for a short period of time I accompanied him on sales calls every day.
When the Osaka office was established in January 2014, Yoshinaga was busy making telemarketing calls and going around to make sales so that customers in Osaka would know about Coding Factory's services. He must have felt lonely doing this unglamorous sales activity by himself.
In the spring of 2015, I became the head of the sales department, and from around summer, I began to make monthly business trips to the Osaka office, which changed my relationship with Yoshinaga. In addition to increasing the number of consultations, I also told him what I wanted him to do, and he thought about what he needed to do and carried it out.
Although my working style seems to have taken shape now, working alone in the Osaka office has many inconveniences other than simply being lonely. Even in such a situation, I communicate with the sales department members in Yoyogi, call the production members to supplement the project outline, and proactively interact with everyone.
The Yoshinaga I have in mind is someone who, although she does have a air of naivety (lol), is someone who gets things done properly once she has made a decision, proactively comes up with ideas and thinks about things, and has the ability to get things done.
We look forward to seeing his future success. Sales Division eldest son Yoshinaga
Thanks to Yoshinaga's hard work last year, I feel that Osaka will change greatly in the future. Previously, small-scale projects were the norm, but the scale of projects is gradually getting larger. More than anything, we are seeing an increase in repeat customers who rely on him for advice. I think that Yoshinaga's attitude of "thinking together with customers about what we can do" is showing in the results.
I would like to continue thinking, "Let's start with Osaka and try this!" and working together to develop the Osaka office. And I have high hopes for Yoshinaga, who will lead everyone as the eldest son* of the sales department!
*Together with his second son (Harazawa) and third son (Hatayama), they are known as the "Three Brothers in the Sales Department"
Comments on receiving MVP award
Thank you for receiving the MVP award. This is my second time receiving the award, but the last time I received it was on a recommendation from another department, so this is the first time I've received it on a recommendation from my own department.
It's already been four years since the Osaka office opened. I'm really happy that all the hard work has paid off and led to me receiving the MVP award.
Since I'm basically the only one running the Osaka office, I can't do much, but with the support of my department head and other members, albeit remotely, I hope to continue working hard.
I would be happy if my hard work pays off in the form of a great website.
thank you very much.
