Congratulations to MVP Yukiko Takahashi: Daily efforts lead to a lot of trust

The MVP award is given to the person who "worked the hardest this month!" In October 2024, the winner was Takahashi, manager of "Everfresh Cafe," a cafe operated by MONOSUS Shokuken in the office of a major pharmaceutical company in the UK.

This time, we will introduce the Everfresh Cafe team, who have built strong relationships of trust with both clients and internal members who use the cafe, and served more than twice as many meals as last year. We will introduce the comments of Takahashi, who will be taking on the new challenge of roasting coffee from 2025.

*The titles of each member are those at the time of receiving the award.

congratulations.
Operating a company cafeteria is different from a regular restaurant or food service establishment, in that of course we need to satisfy our customers, but we also need to satisfy our clients. We have a strong client base and are friendly with our customers. We work more like friends than as buyers and sellers. I think it's great that we work together as a team, cooperating with the head chef, Mr. Okatake.
When viewed as a business, it is a very small company cafeteria, but until last year we were serving around 120 lunches. But now, despite the fact that the facilities have not changed, we are serving 250 meals, and the other day we were serving 290 meals. This is growth that would be impossible for a stable company cafeteria, and I believe it is because the employees have a high level of trust in us and we provide good service.
In fact, they take good care of their team members. The other day, a part-time employee graduated with a positive attitude, and even with new colleagues joining, there is still a sense of unity and it's wonderful that they can have fun.
Thank you for your continued support.

Congratulations!
I know that Takahashi-san has captured the hearts of his clients!
Recently, at the 395 event held in Yoyogi, people from the company where Takahashi is the manager of the cafeteria came and showed me some fun photos of themselves with Takahashi. I really felt that they have built a great relationship. When I stopped by the restaurant, I saw Takahashi and customers having a really good time talking to each other. I think that this relationship is what is leading to the increase in the number of meals served.
It's been three years since Shashokuken was established and Takahashi joined the company, and I'm sure it's been a tough time, but I'm impressed with how hard he's worked to get to this point! That's why I recommended him.
Congratulations!!

congratulations!
Takahashi-san started working as a part-timer from the early stages when Shashokuken was still in its early stages of establishment. Of course, that was with the expectation that he would become an employee, but he started working at a time when he really didn't know where he was going...
Of course, I had a trusting relationship with Mr. Arai and Head Chef Iino from my previous job, but we were hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Then we started up school lunches for elementary and junior high schools in Kamiyama. How long were we there? About two months. The hygiene standards were very strict, and we faced strong opposition from the local community, so we were tasked with starting up the business under a new system. We've been together since then.
I haven't been able to see you at work much lately, but I've heard from Arai-san and the team that you're working really hard. You've also received positive reviews from clients. I've also heard that you'll be going in a new direction next year to perfect your favorite coffee, so I hope you'll win the MVP and we'll all support you in your next challenge. Congratulations!

I'm happy because I never expected that I would be the MVP.
I had always worked as a bartender and barista, mainly dealing with drinks and customer service, but I joined Monosus at a time when I was feeling lost and unsure about what to do next.
When I joined Monosus, I encountered many different people's thoughts and craftsmen, and I decided that I wanted to try my hand at various things rather than being tied down to one thing.
Immediately after I joined the company, I was involved in setting up the school lunch service, and doing something I had never done before was difficult, but it also taught me a lot and allowed me to think about things from a different perspective, so I think it was great that I was able to absorb new things. There are difficult and tough times, but there are also more joyful times than that, and I've been blessed with great colleagues, so there are a lot of good things, and now I'm able to enjoy my work to the fullest.
I think that the various things we've done up until now have all come together and led to this recognition.
Starting next year, I will be taking on a new challenge: coffee roasting, and I hope to utilize my past experience to tackle this challenge.
Thank you very much.

How to create good blood circulation with members and other people involved? How can we deepen our relationships to do better work? While thinking about this, we introduce the people and work of Monosus. The secretariat has approximately five members. I love eating a lot.
